Discoveries of Russian Specialists

Today one can find semi-conductors of special materials. Their electrical resistance should be somewhere among the resistance of a conductor and a non-conductor. Whims of temperature or used admixtures also influence the electrical resistance.
The material contains impurities if some different components have been mixed to it. Semi-conductors are marked as power semiconductor devices of type-n or type-t depending on the characteristics of complete mixture.
The combination of type-n and type-t semiconductors is applied to produce diodes as well as transistors. It’s obvious that today the most actual material for semiconductor manufacture is silicon.
Diode in its turn is the electronic component created of semi-conductor material. It lets electrical current flow just in one direction. There is a layer of (positive) combination, - (negative) construction and so-called pn-transfer fixed as barrier level in every diode. Electrical circuits that change between alternating and direct current are created applying diodes. Just a part of the series or cycle is to be completed as diodes let current go just in a single direction. Rectifier is the term for such a junction.
Speaking of the light diodes that figure as LED, they are used to get light at little voltages without generating warmth. Such diodes are used in all units of up-to-date electronic devices including TV sets or audio units specially to sign the idle state.
Moore’s law led to the development of thyristors production. What is the most important point to manufacture complex power semiconductor devices at lower cost? Surely lithography. As for optical lithography, it eventually gives way to the development of new technologies as it has come to its physical limit. Now ultraviolet lithography and nano-imprint lithography are known to stay the best substitutes to optical method. X-ray lithography and electron beam lithography now are also known to be of high potential. Another precious discovery was carried out in Russia. It happened to be the development of voltage sensors. People use those sensors to complete various actions in any conditions. They find their use in business, industrial and personal devices. The form and size of the voltage sensor can differ depending on the kind of device. And they may be small (like in some light detectors) or complicated (detectors that signal radiation motion).
Alone the voltage sensor won’t be useful. The power system dispatchers are made to keep supervisory control over lots of actions like opening or blocking circuit breakers in substation, maintaining voltage, frequency, power flow and different system properties, changing the planned interchange of power between the adjacent power systems, fixing and working with different system alarms.
The full snap-shot of the whole power system should be sent to the controllers from the monitors on several computers of different dependent stations. With the use of respective interfacing elements the state of CB’s, igct, isolators and analog values such as MVAR, MW, KV, Amps etc. was captured in the RTU. The biggest success in export belongs to Russia and China.
